How much does it cost to live in Takesa Village?
Community Members decide whether to increase the rent and by how much.
- Each Member household pays four charges.
- The first is the non-refundable Application Fee of $36 for each adult in the household.
- The second charge is one-time Membership Fee of $200. And, Members get their Membership Fee back if they sell their homes.
- The third charge is the lot rent that is collected monthly to pay for operating expenses like taxes, insurance, trash/recycling collection and the Association’s mortgage payments. Lot rent is currently $380 per month and includes water and sewer.
- The fourth charge is the background check. It’s $65 plus $15 per the state you have lived in the last five years.
